Kyii Duo
In 2018, Kylie Bedard and Kyle Paoletti began learning Ivan Trevino's Catching Shadows. At the time, Kylie was beginning her bio-medical science studies and Kyle was working through percussion performance and music education courses. As time went on, the two continued playing together performing at community events, local competitions, and even busking.
In 2021, the duo gave their first concert at the Pontiac Musicale In Southeast Michigan. They performed a handful of solos and duets, ending with Catching Shadows. After the success of the concert, the two decided to establish themselves as a proper duo and formed the name Kyii (Ky - two) Duo.

In 2023, the duo recorded the 10 year anniversary recording of Catching Shadows and were selected by Ivan to perform for him in his PASIC 2023 mallet clinic, creating a full circle moment for the group with the piece that started it all.

Kyii Duo is currently on a brief break while Kyle and Kylie pursue further schooling in separate states but the pair intend to reunite for future projects and commissions. So stay tuned!
