I offer both in-person and virtual lessons as well as masterclass/clinics. I currently live in Omaha, Nebraska but often travel back home to south-east Michigan for clinics and masterclasses.

My teaching philosophy as a music educator is always evolving and expanding through experience and reflection. I believe that students deserve an education that connects to their prior knowledge, incorporates active learning to engage them in the material, and fosters the ability for students to gain agency on the subject matter. In order for this to happen, my role as an educator must be that of a constructivist guide who scaffolds the students through active and engaging learning by making the learning accessible/inclusive and choosing appropriate repertoire/lesson for their level.
I teach anywhere from 8 years old to adult age on drum set, mallets, timpani, snare drum, auxiliary, composition, piano, and multi-percussion.

Lessons are available both in-person and virtually with choice of 30 minute or 60 minute lessons.

Clinics & Masterclasses
In addition to lessons, I also offer engaging and educational percussion clinics and masterclasses tailored for schools, ensembles, and individuals. Whether you're looking for a deep dive into technique, interpretation, or specific styles (classical, jazz, world percussion, etc.), I provide hands-on instruction and insight to help you grow!
